The Cracked Reader (Lite) App Reviews

There are definitely some glitches, but for the most part I am able to read articles unhindered. Maybe not so with comments and photoplasty content is sometimes hard to read, but I dont have problems with all the ads and stuff. Not a bad app to get your Cracked fix!

Why do they have a version that you have to pay for when they cant even get the lite version to work. Judging by how often this doesnt work I wouldnt spend money on the full version

I got read of the paid Cracked-reader and got Lite instead. Crashes way less. Ads are obviously annoying but a lot less annoying than the constant crashing

I signed up to log into the site and the app, and after several attempts, none of my password resets were recognized. This is sad, as I was hoping to join in as a writer. There is no contact info, so I cant get any customer support. Hopefully this will get some attention. Otherwise, much better with reduced banner ad presence.

Good app, articles are funny.

I like cracked. My favorite part about this app though is that it never goes to the article that I select. It usually crashes before I get that far though so I guess it could be worse.

Had high hopes for this based on the reviews-and really liked the enticing/somewhat sleek interface for the home screen? Definitely enjoyed reading the few articles on the front page-but in trying to click on a more specific article it just keep reverting back to a column from the home screen

Crackeds content is filled with interesting articles, but they need to fix this app. It is horrible.

This app used to work okay. All of a sudden its broken. When clicking on an article it loads whichever one was on top of the list, not the one you clicked. Very annoying.

It rarely opens the article I click on and multiple links go to the same article. This app is essentially useless as is.

Lately, the app has decided to make every article the same article. I click on an article and it is the correct author, but a completely different article and there is no way to get the correct article. I love the content and the app used to be so much better than the website.

App was working great, no complaints until I updated to iOS10. Now, when I click on an article, it leads me to a random one from a day or two before. Hoping this gets fixed in an update soon.

Im an avid Cracked reader and love their full site; but, this app needs work. Frequently Ill tap on an article I want to read only to be presented with an article that I dont and didnt want to read. Example: if I wanted to read a Photoplasty article and then tapped on it, I would sometimes be presented with another article totally unrelated to Photoplasty and usually unrelated to my subjects of interest. Between 2 1/2 and 3 stars.

Did you guys fire your IT guy or is he on an extended vacation? Because this app has gone to hell, I cant open a different article it keeps redirecting me to an entirely different article every time. FIX THIS

This app worked great until about a month ago, now half the time the wrong article pops up or only the first screen of it loads. Giving it two stars only because when it does work right its great.

Ive enjoyed this app for over 4 years but since ios 10 rolled out, its been really buggy and will only load one article no matter which one you try to open.

Almost none of the headlines actually open to the stories theyre about.
